Graffiti Robots
Two robots explore their environment leaving colored marks or “tags” on the ground. When they leave these marks in the environment, they announce that they were there. These two robots also react to one another. They will not cross the other's drawn marks. This can lead to problems such as drawing themselves into a corner. A third robot navigates the area cleaning marks, thus leaving traces that it was there. This ongoing drawing and erasing exchange could go on indefinitely. It questions the meaning of identity and how they are perceived in society. To see a video and download project documentation visit:
